Who we are

Square Construction, LLC. (“Square”, “we”, “us”) is a roofing and exterior restoration contractor based in Richardson, TX, serving Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin Metro, and Sherman–Denison. This policy covers information collected through squareconstruction.biz, including the AI chat assistant.

What we collect

• Site analytics. A short hash of your IP address (not the IP itself), the device family (mobile, tablet, desktop), and the country/city Vercel reports based on the IP. We log the page you visited and how you got there. No cookies, no third-party trackers.
• AI chat. The messages you send and the replies you receive. The same hashed IP, country, and city noted above. The page you started the chat on. We do not ask for and do not store SSN, payment info, full street address, or date of birth.
• Contact form submissions. Name, phone, email, and the message you send when you ask us to follow up.
• Information you volunteer. If you share your name, phone, or email in chat, we store it with the conversation so we can follow up.

Why we collect it

• To operate and secure the site.
• To respond to your questions and inspection requests.
• To improve our content and the AI assistant’s answers.
• To detect abuse and enforce reasonable rate limits on the chat.

Cookies

We do not use cookies. The chat widget remembers your conversation between visits using your browser’s local storage on your device only — clearing your browser data clears it.

Who we share with

• Anthropic.Chat messages are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate replies. Anthropic processes the message and returns a response. See Anthropic’s privacy policy.
• Supabase. Our database provider, where conversations and analytics are stored.
• Vercel. Our hosting provider. Vercel sees the same network metadata as any other web host.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We share with the providers above only to run the site, and only the data they need.

How long we keep it

• Chat conversations: 12 months from the last message, then deleted. Email us sooner to delete.
• Analytics (no PII): retained indefinitely in aggregate; nothing in the analytics tables identifies a person.
• Contact form submissions: kept until your inquiry is resolved, then archived.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the information we hold about you. You can also tell us to stop contacting you. Email info@squareconstruction.biz and we will respond within a reasonable time.

California residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email info@squareconstruction.biz.

EU residents (GDPR)

If you’re in the EU/EEA, the lawful bases we rely on are: your consent (where you submit information voluntarily), contract performance (responding to inquiries), and legitimate interest (operating and securing the site). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing. Contact info@squareconstruction.biz to exercise these rights.

Children

The site is for adults. We don’t market to anyone under 18 and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Updates to this policy

We’ll update this page when our practices change. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. For substantive changes, we’ll post a notice at the top of the page.
